Here are our esteemed recipients thus far, who have appeared at Crimson Screen. We look forward to celebrating many more in the future!
2016 - FELISSA ROSE
Felissa Rose made her film debut as Angela Baker in the cult horror film Sleepaway Camp (1983), which established her as a horror icon.[ Rose has amassed over 150 film credits, and is best known for her work in the horror genre, for which she is recognized as a "scream queen".
2017 - JOE BOB BRIGGS
Joe Bob Briggs, is an American syndicated film critic, writer, actor, comic performer, and horror host. He is known for having hosted Joe Bob's Drive-in Theater on The Movie Channel from 1986 to 1996, the TNT television series MonsterVision from 1996 to 2000, and The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder.
2018 - MARK PATTON
Mark Patton is an American actor beginning his professional acting career in 1982, Patton is perhaps best known for his feature film roles as Joe Qualley in the dramatic film Come Back to the Five & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean and as Jesse Walsh in the 1985 horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge, a role for which he is touted as the first "scream king" (male equivalent of scream queen) in modern cinema.
2019 - PJ SOLES
PJ Soles is an American actress and made her film debut in 1976 as Norma Watson in Brian De Palma's Carrie (1976) before portraying Lynda van der Klok in John Carpenter's Halloween (1978) and Riff Randell in Allan Arkush's Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979). Other notable films include Breaking Away (1979), Private Benjamin (1980), Stripes (1981), Sweet Dreams (1985), Jawbreaker (1999), and The Devil's Rejects (2005).
